A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

A Game About is a short, lo-fi (!), slice-of-life (!!), experimental (!!!) piece that recreates the crushing weight of living through the simplest routine. It's also a comedy point & click game.

Playtime should be around ten minutes. Tears - that may or may not be happy tears - should happen around the eight minutes and a half mark. I guarantee* at least two (2) good chuckles from playing the game.

*Not an actual guarantee.

7/10 - Funny little game, I guess the developer just drew and wrote everything by hand.

This was an interesting experience.

Here is a short video we made while playing:

It was a very good game, seem to follow the path of depression fairly accurately, Good game.

Thanks you so much!

In some way, shape, or form we're all acquainted with our own brand of anxiety, and A Game About manages to talk about coping mechanisms without being morose or cynical. It's very sincere, personal, and down-to-earth. I adore it.

(And I'm completely enamored of the title screen that couldn't fully exist anywhere but a videogame).

This was fun. Like watching an old Roobarb & Custard show with all the shaking. Played this three times and was always something different to click on each time so great to play again. Ran very nicely with cool sound effects. I enjoyed it. Well done... :)

It warms my heart that you would play the game multiple times to see all the different scenes. Thank you for playing!
